It's cooled down :)

Hi! Hello and welcome to the new followers. Hope you're going to find some  fun here :) I'm starting to think of another givaway - for 300 followers ;)
Uff... it's cooled down today. What a relief! I can start thinking again.
Thank you for the comments on the floor. As I expected its very soft and placing anything on it I need to be careful not to leave indentations. Or hopefully they will add to the ageing of the boards. We'll see.

I spent last days trying to survive the heat, as most of you, I guess. I was also making some fruit preserves for winter. And so I prepared 10 jars of black currant jam, 15 jars of cherry confiture and 18 jars of apple muss! Not in mini. It was all in real life. As you know I have a garden and it's full of fruit trees and bushes. They were all planted by my parents and grandparents years ago and now... it's all mine :) Luckily my family like to eat such things all year round. It was a labour, though...

Yesterday we went to a 5th birthday party. It was such fun. There were some people rented to entertain children and they were awesome. It's always satisfying to see professionals in actions. Just in case you're looking for somebody like this here's their site.

Coming back to minis... I have an order for six ice-coffees and was looking for the appropriate glasses in my mini cabinet. Just took a few photos for fun. I also remember I promised to show you how I made the pavlovas. I will soon because I'm going to make more of them. They sell so well :))) I'll take some work in progress photos then.

Hej!

Zrobię to wkrótce, bo planuję jeszcze parę przygotować. Cieszą się sporym zainteresowaniem :).

Here's the glass story:
A oto opowiastka o miniaturowych szklankach:

P.S. While I'm writing this post, my 3-year-old is playing with our scrabble blocks. No... she's not building words ;). She's putting them into a pot full of water and playing ice cubes :)))

  1. Hello Gosia! I applaud your Real Life canning and Jam making efforts! I do not envy your having to maintain an orchard, but to be able to carry on a tradition of having a family business, must be enormously satisfying as well as a healthy choice for your children too! I know that the flavors of the produce is different when you are growing your own and what an indulgence to eat the fruit straight from the tree and later from your preserves. YUM!
Your glass cabinet is very pretty and the glasses look like Glass! I don't know if they are glass or acrylic but WHATEVER material they are composed of, they look 'Smashing' against the pickled wood! Looking forward to MORE Pavlovas.
